Excerpt: From the 1st January 2010, Ryanair have now introduced the Prepaid Mastercard as the only credit or debit card that will not include card charges when booking on their website. This method of payment supersedes the previous card which was a Visa Electron. Many banks had stopped doing the electron card, so this maybe why Ryanair have changed the card, as the Prepaid Mastercard is available to anyone.
