Nearly 20 million people tuned in to watch the show, with over 10 million people voting. The British public finally chose Joe to sing The Climb, rather than runner up Olly.
The original version of the song was sung by Miley Syrus and was released in March 2009 for the film Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Simon Cowell will again hope it goes straight in as Christmas Number one. Who can stop x-factor getting next years number 1 spot?
